SAND Trust is a registered charitable organization based at Sivagangai district of Tamil Nadu.
SAND Trust is a non-profit voluntary organization registered under the Indian Trust (Registrat ion Act of 1882) in the year 1986. SAND is also registered under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (1976) and u/s 12 A of the Income Tax act (1961).

SAND Trust that fabricates up on the knowledge and gains of the past three decades. SAND has been working in Sivagangai and Ramnad District geographically separated places in south Tamil Nadu. In a much discussed and planned strategy, we are concentrating to work with Dalits.
SAND Trust concentrated on a strategy that helped in community organizing especially among women, children, youth and small farmers. SAND always believed only Right Based Approach and not on Need Based Approach. Here the foot prints of SAND from its journey in the field of Activism. In the past three decades, SAND dealt with the following main objectives is Community Based Organizing, Addressing Livelihood Issues, Child Rights, Farmers Field School and Grassroots’ Intellectuals
